Shipping is Underway – Backers Are Receiving Rewards!

Hi everyone,

I’m back with a fulfilment update for your Map Library rewards. Everything is moving along!

I’ve absolutely loved seeing photos on Discord and socials from backers who have already received their Map Libraries. Keep scrolling to the end to check out some of the photos.

If your rewards have arrived, I’d really appreciate it if you left a comment letting us know what you think of your rewards on the Kickstarter campaign page! Your feedback helps us make future projects even better, and new backers often look at past campaigns when deciding whether to support us.

US FULFILMENT

Around 2,000 orders have already been shipped out from Quartermaster Logistics (QML), and are making their way to backers across the US. It's exciting to see lots of you receiving them!

Tabletop Tokens had the latest arrival date in the warehouse, so the final wave of shipments from QML are pledges that included this add-on (trust me, it's worth the wait). These will start leaving the warehouse mid next week.

UK, EU & ROW FULFILMENT

Your rewards took a bit of a detour... while the boat carrying our stock arrived at the UK port on time, there wasn’t enough space for it to dock, so it had to go all the way to Germany before making its way back a few days later! Thankfully, all stock is now safely in the UK. It has been unloaded from the boat and is scheduled to arrive at the warehouse on Monday.

We expect The Storage Place (TSP) to begin shipping early next week, and backers should start receiving their pledges from the end of next week.

AUS FULFILMENT

The Map Libraries and Tabletop Tokens have been processed and are ready to start shipping. There was a slight delay at customs with the shipment containing add-ons, so we've asked Aetherworks (AW) to kick-off shipping orders that just contain Map Libraries and Tabletop Tokens first (since those are already in the warehouse). Then, they'll move onto a second wave that includes pledges with other add-ons.

We expect AW to begin shipping the first wave mid next week and the second wave shortly after that.

WHEN WILL SHIPPING WRAP UP?

We're hoping all rewards would have left the warehouses by 14TH FEBRUARY. Depending on where you live, they will take different amounts of time to reach you once they're on their way. You will receive tracking information on your BackerKit pledge manager, so you can track your pledge to your front door. I'll keep you posted if there are any changes to the dates above.

Shipping Begins This Month!

Hi everyone,

Shipping of your Map Library pledges kicks off at the end of this month!

The final pallets are set to arrive at the port over the next week or so, and that means we're preparing to begin fulfilment. Here's a breakdown region by region.

UK, EU & ROW FULFILMENT

Our fulfilment partner for the UK, Europe and the Rest of World is The Storage Place (TSP). The Map Libraries and Tabletop Tokens land at the port on the 16th Jan, all other rewards have already arrived at the warehouse. The stock takes roughly 10 days from landing at the port to be couriered, received and counted. Assuming no delays, we expect TSP to begin shipping on the 26TH JANUARY. Once shipping starts, it should take 2-3 weeks for everything to leave the warehouse.

US FULFILMENT

Our fulfilment partner in the US is Quartermaster Logistics (QML). The Map Libraries are expected at the port on the 19th Jan, the Tabletop Tokens are due on the 21st Jan, and all other rewards have already arrived at the warehouse. The stock takes roughly 10 days from landing at the port to be couriered, received and counted. Assuming no delays, we expect QML to begin shipping on the 29TH JANUARY. Once shipping starts, it should take 2-3 weeks for everything to leave the warehouse.

QML will send all US backers an address survey, so please keep an eye on your Junk/Spam folders. If your address has changed since completing the pledge manager, please respond to the survey as soon as possible, otherwise there could be an unavoidable delay/issue in getting your package to you.

AUS FULFILMENT

Our fulfilment partner in Australia is Aetherworks (AW). Their warehouse has received the Tabletop Tokens, and the Map Libraries are expected to land at the port in the next week, with the other rewards due to arrive in the next couple of weeks (since these are being forwarded from our other warehouses). The stock takes roughly 10 days from landing at the port to be couriered, received and counted. Assuming no delays, we expect AW to begin shipping on the 31ST JANUARY. Once shipping starts, it should take 2-3 weeks for everything to leave the warehouse.

Everyone should receive tracking numbers and confirmation emails once your package has been shipped. If you don't receive a shipping notification by 15th February, please email [email protected] and we'll investigate.

Thanks again for your support and excitement throughout the Kickstarter campaign. It's so exciting to be at the fulfilment stage. I've been using the VTT maps in my online games already, and they've been a lifesaver! I can't wait to start using the physical dry-erase maps, too.

Warehouse Check-In and End of Year Update

Hey everyone,

T'is the season for hitting refresh on the freighting tracking details...

Warehouse Update

Since our last update, Anni (our awesome Supply Chain Manager) has been keeping track of all the Map Library products as they get freighted from the printer to warehouses around the world. Everything is on schedule to start shipping to you in January, woohoo! 

The Travel Folder, Enamel Pins and Paper Pads have already arrived at distribution centres in the UK, US and Australia. The Map Library and Tabletop Tokens are due to arrive over the next few weeks. 

Once everything has arrived, each warehouse team has their own process for organising, packing and shipping parcels. We'll be back in January with info on when and how your rewards will be posted out. 

2024 Wrap-Up

It's wild to think that this project launched in February this year, and now we're just a few weeks away from the finished product shipping to 3,000+ game masters around the world – where has the time gone? We've also run two other crowdfunding campaigns, been to multiple conventions and won five awards. Thanks for all your support in 2024, we couldn't do it without you!

After a busy year, we're using the holidays to rest up. Most of the Roll & Play Press team will be away from Friday 20th December to Friday 3rd January. We'll be back in the new year with another update and replies to any messages.

Locking Addresses: Final Deadline

Hey all,

Don't skip this update! It has important info about the physical delivery of your Map Library rewards.

Locking Addresses

Items have started arriving in our warehouses in the US and UK, so we're starting to prep for distribution. This includes confirming all backer addresses.

WHEN'S THE DEADLINE?

Sunday 17th November is the last day you can change your shipping address, before we lock everything in on Monday 18th.

Please make sure your address is correct asap, as we can't promise changes made after this deadline will be possible.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY ADDRESS?

If you need to change your address before the cut-off, it's easy to do through BackerKit:

• Log into BackerKit and navigate to 'Your Surveys' to find this project.
• Click 'Edit Address', then 'Edit Shipping Info' and update with the new info.

WHY NOW?

Our distribution partners ask us for shipping data 6–8 weeks before parcels are sent out (January 2025). This gives them time to check the info, book us into their system and get everything ready to go.

I'M MOVING – WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you're likely to move between now and January, we'd suggest picking an address that you know you will be able to collect your rewards from (like a workplace, relative or friend).

Have you enjoyed flicking through the Map Library files?

We've had so many of you reach out already to tell us how much you love the maps on Discord, email and Kickstarter – it's been an absolute joy. We worked really hard on getting the maps to you (as has our incredible illustrator Venatus, seriously, his output has been amazing), so it's heart-warming to get such good feedback.
